Ted Toms
Ted Toms was born in Chelmsford and studied at Colchester School of Art,
where he was taught life drawing and painting by some leading contemporary
figurative artists, including Peter Coker, John Nash and Peter Blake.
He finds inspiration for his landscape and seascape painting from the Stour
Estuary, close to his studio in Bradfield in Essex and from frequent visits
to the Rhine Valley in Germany. His work is in private collections in the UK, Europe and the United States.
